Solo Art Exhibition

The story of this exhibition:

Alaa comes from a country that does not automatically allow women to access all their rights whether politically, economically, culturally or socially. After 10 years of Syrian conflict, domestic violence against women has worsened as men spend more time at home due to lack of work.

By taking an interest in the mental and physical consequences of this situation, she wishes, through this exhibition, to send a strong message to make the silent voices of the women who live in such communities heard.

With women symbolizing life, musical instruments symbolizing energy, movements symbolizing freedom, colors symbolizing boldness and elements of nature symbolizing spirituality, she created a collection of paintings to achieve her goals by supporting women who cannot play their role as citizens in communities like hers. She wanted to create an ideal “state of peace” among all peoples and nations on the planet. Despite different cultures, religions, philosophies and traditions, the existence of women and music creates a HARMONY between each element in this “state of peace”.
